About ONE CLICK P&L
Made by SWCPALAB · 3785 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90010
What it does
You upload the bank statements your bank already sends you — PDF, scanned PDF, CSV, Excel, or a photo of a paper statement. We read every transaction, ask about the ones we cannot place in plain English, and build a Profit & Loss statement, and a Balance Sheet if you want one, that you can hand to a lender or a tax preparer. There is nothing to export from accounting software, because you are not expected to own any.
Who makes it
SWCPALAB is a product of SW Accounting & Consulting Corp, a licensed California CPA firm based in Los Angeles. The product grew out of the firm's own practice: a business owner is asked for a profit & loss statement by a lender, does not have one, and is quoted thousands to catch up a year of books before anyone will even start. The statements needed to answer that question are usually already sitting in their email.
The firm is reachable at sw-cpas.com. For anything about this product, write to support@swcpalab.com.
Why it tells you what it could not read
Anything that reads a bank statement automatically will sometimes be wrong. The choice is whether the software admits it. This one does, in four places:
- Every extraction is checked against the statement's own totals. A difference we cannot explain is reported to you, not quietly absorbed into a number.
- Before you pay, a grid shows every month of every account and what we actually have for it. A month nobody sent is marked as missing rather than left out.
- A guess is never shown as a fact. Provisional figures stay visibly provisional until a file confirms them.
- Where we cannot tell two bank accounts apart, we say so instead of issuing a diagnosis that would send you to change a correct figure.
A report you hand to a lender has to survive their questions. It does that by being honest about its own gaps, which is why we would rather show you a hole than paper over one.
What this is not
Reports are drafts generated by software, built only from the statements you upload. They are not GAAP financial statements and not bookkeeping. Using this product does not make SW Accounting & Consulting Corp your accountant and creates no accountant-client relationship — see the Terms. If you want a CPA to look at the finished report or handle your taxes, you can ask from the report page once it is done, and that is a separate engagement you agree to separately.
Your statements
Uploads are encrypted in transit and stored privately. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising, and you can delete everything from Settings at any time. The Privacy Policy lists every processor that touches a statement and what each one gets.
